🌴 Akhilaa Tourism: Cancellation & Return Policy
Akhilaa Tourism’s goal is to create travel experiences that are memory makers by way of an enjoyable vacation. Sometimes plans do not go according to plan. So we have to make it as easy as possible for you to cancel or change your booking. Below is Akhilaa Tourism’s policy regarding cancellations, changes and refunds.
1.🧍 Canceling Touring / Activity By You (The Customer)
The amount of your refund will depend on the time given to you prior to your scheduled trip.
- If you give us five (5) days or more notice, we will refund you in full (100%) of your total booking amount.
- If you give us less than five (5) days notice, no refund will be issued to you (0%).
Important Customer Cancellation Information:
- A written request is necessary: Cancellation requests can only be processed if they are received in writing via email at inquiry@akhilaatourism.com. Cancellations made over the phone will not be accepted.
- Cancellation date: The cancellation date will be the date that we receive the written email request.
- Exceptions: Tours that are scheduled with outside suppliers may have additional cancellation requirements. All exceptions will be indicated on both the website tour description and within your confirmation email.
- Non-refundable components: Items that have been purchased ahead of time (e.g., tickets, permits, etc.) as specifically designated as non-refundable, will not be included in the refund amount, regardless of when you cancel.
2.✦ Cancellation of Tours / Activities by Us (Akhilaa Tourism)
If we need to cancel a tour/activity due to unexpected reasons beyond our controls, such as:
- Too few people to run the tour
- Bad weather making it unsafe to do the activity
- Unexpected situations that occur (natural disasters, political conflicts, etc.)
- A supplier cancels, later.
As a result, we will call/email you and give you the following choices:
- Full Refund of all money paid for the reservations.
- Reschedule your tour/activity for another date (if available).
- Select a different tour/activity of equal or lesser dollar value (if available).
3. 🔄 Refunds Process
- Once your cancellation is received and processed:
- Method Refunds will be processed using the original payment method used for the booking.
- Refunds typically take 10 business days to appear in your account, but due to the variability in processing time at each bank and payment provider, some people may need to wait longer than 10 days.
4. 📆 Amendments/Changes to Bookings
- All requests to change a booking (date, time, number of guests) must be sent in writing as soon as possible.
- Subject to availability.
- Changes may incur extra fees depending on the rules established by our vendor.
