The aquarium is home to over 100 marine species, including massive tiger sharks, stunning stingrays, and cute little sea horses.   • Dubai Underwater Zoo & Aquarium Dress Code During the tour, acceptable, casual attire is permitted. Beachwear is not permitted.
  • Age and Health Restrictions: All ages, including expectant moms, are welcome to visit Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo.
  • An adult (16 years of age or older) must accompany children under the age of sixteen.
  • Food, drinks, glasses, and alcohol are not permitted within Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo.
  • Please always have a current photo ID with you.
  • Youngsters under two are not charged.

Is photography and video recording permitted at the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo?

Yes, we encourage visitors to document their experience by taking pictures and videos for personal use. We also offer a professional photography service throughout your visit, and you will be notified when flash photography is prohibited for the well being of our animals in designated areas. Designated areas will be clearly marked throughout your visit, and we request that you respect these rules so we may continue to provide a safe and comfortable environment for all of our residents.

Am I allowed to stay the entire day?

Guests are welcome to stay for the full day of your scheduled booking, during our operational hours.

What are the presentation times during the day?

Presentations take place back to back during the day, please ask a staff member for timing.

Can I go back in after I scan my ticket?

No, you cannot go back in. Your ticket is valid for one entry only.

How long will it take me to go through Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo?

It takes an average of about 15 – 30 minutes to go through the aquarium tunnel. The underwater zoo on level 2 takes about 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. This could vary if you decide to stay to watch presentations and shows. The glass bottom boat ride is about 15 – 20 minutes. Guests are recommended to secure their boat ride in advance, to avoid waiting long. You can secure your booking at the entrance of the glass bottom boat ride area on level 2 of the underwater zoo.

Do you sell mementos for guests who visit?

We have souvenirs for sale in the retail store at Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, near the exit of the Underwater Zoo. A variety of t-shirts, gifts, and mementoes will be on sale.
